Comments: As with most games these days, Hammer Heads is extremely polished. The sights and sounds are well above average - even for games in the space that look and sound good. It's obvious that this game was done by a professional shop. Beyond the initial thrill of pounding the heck out of early enemies, there isn't much to keep you going. It gets frantic and furious at higher levels...but I'm not sure that it's that much fun. I liked that you could buy things to help you smash things more easily (better hammers, faster hammers, more health), I just wished there was more of a "hook." If anything, the initial conceipt of Whack a Mole was probably too simplistic to build an entire game out of. And at $20, this game is not much value. The game is easy to learn, but perhaps it's too little of a "game" to pay for. I suppose if you like to click things, this might be for you...cuz there's plenty to click on.
