Comments: You both shoot at enemies, move around to avoid getting hit, and drop balls to match 3 colours with an unexpected twist. The stroke of genius with this colour match is that you drop the balls down from above instead of firing them upwards - and the effect of gravity can have both unexpected and amusing effects. I liked that the bow attack for the enemies is kept apart from the ball drop shooting.
Loved the distinct differences between each level - varying from underwater to lava, from ice to vampire castles, each with their own horde of monsters. The graphics are colourful, simple but delightful and easy on the eyes.
I also enjoyed the upgradeable "giant maxi wipe-out everything" special attack you can use once per level to destroy both enemies and structures. You also have a "special attack" you can use several times per level to attack structures - although I wish you could decide WHEN to use this versus the "GIANT maxi attack". As it is now, the giant maxi attack always happens the first time you use the special attack on a level, even if you only need it to destroy a measly rock that refused to go down.... and then when you really wish for the giant maxi attack to wipe out the lair of buddies further down, its already used.
Your bow is a bit big, so its sometimes very difficult to avoid getting hit from monsters, especially the dragons on the higher levels, but its a nice rise in difficulty level so when you get to these nasty ones, you've learned enough to have a chance against them.
The game is littlered with loads of tongue-in-cheek humour, word plays, sillyness and clever lines, with kicks in many directions. Personally I loved the Lord of the Rings reference on the last level..... for those who came that far.
A last tip: Don't turn down those side quests you receive on each level. The rewards just might be worth the extra dangers... ;-)
I gladly paid to be able to play the entire thing, and have played it over and over!
