Comments: Christmasville is perfect for those who like a large variety of games - stories, treasure hunts (I SPY), puzzles, word games - this game has lots of variety.

You're a detective solving the mystery of a missing Santa Claus. While trying to solve the mystery, you have several types of puzzles to complete: hidden items, differences between pictures, word scrambles, jigsaw-type puzzles, matching (concentration) and maybe more. The word scrambles were fairly easy, but the hidden pictures, puzzles, and difference pictures were challenging. For hidden pictures, you are either given a written list or a silhouette of the item - a nice variation on the usual puzzle. You are given hints, but you must wait until the tip meter recharges before getting another.

The story is a bit lengthy (but funny), but you do have the option of skipping it if you wish - it's not really necessary to play the games, but it helps a little. There are occasional choices you can make in your dialog, but I don't know if this changes the course of the game.

The game says it comes with 80 levels; I easily went through 9 levels during the one-hour trial. I wonder if the game would be finished too quickly to make it worth the $20 you pay for it. Having only used the trial version, I'm not sure if it changes if you play again or play under a different name. This is the only drawback I've had with it, though.

The graphics, sound effects, and music are all wonderful. You should definitely check this one out.
